Can I switch to Classic CMA while I’m working on a CMA in CMA Manager?
The new CMA Manager is only available when using the New Matrix Dashboard. If you switch between the New and Classic experiences while working on a CMA, you will be redirected to the Matrix Dashboard.
I’m using the New Search form. Why don’t I see the option to use the new CMA?
- In addition to using the New Search form, your Matrix Dashboard must be set to the New Dashboard.
- To switch to the New Dashboard:
- Click your name in the upper-right corner of Matrix.
- Switch the Classic Mode toggle to OFF.
- Matrix will refresh and display the New Dashboard.
- Once you are using the New Dashboard, you will have access to the new CMA workflow.
Will my existing saved CMAs be available in CMA Manager?
Yes. Your existing saved CMAs will be available in CMA Manager after launch.
Can Cotality help me determine a listing price?
- Cotality cannot assist with determining an exact listing price or specific adjustments. For guidance on exact amounts or adjustments, consult an appraiser or your broker and follow your brokerage’s established processes.
- CMA Manager does provide calculated pricing information, including High, Average, Median and Low values, to assist with your analysis.
Can I add my own custom pages to a CMA?
- Yes. CMA Manager allows you to upload custom pages and set them as defaults so they are automatically included in every CMA you create.
- Custom pages are available in both CMA Manager and Classic CMA.
How does the FIND Bar determine whether to open CMA Manager or Classic CMA?
The FIND Bar will direct you to Classic CMA if that is the only CMA experience available to you. If you have access to CMA Manager, the FIND Bar will direct you there instead.
Can I use Suggest Comps on a CMA I have already started?
No. The Suggest Comps feature is only available when initially starting a new CMA. It cannot be applied to a CMA after it has already been started.
How often does a CMA autosave?
- A CMA automatically saves when you move to another tab after making changes on the current tab.
- For example, if you make changes on the Subject tab and then move to the Comparables tab, your CMA will autosave.
- Even with autosave, we recommend clicking Save after making changes to ensure your work is saved.
Why is the Delete option unavailable for some fields on the Manage CMA Fields screen?
- The Delete option is unavailable when a CMA field is currently being used by one or more CMA reports. This safeguard prevents the removal of fields that are necessary for CMA functionality, including fields associated with comparables, subject properties or adjustments.
- If the Delete option is available for a field, that field is not currently tied to a CMA report and can be safely removed.
- If a field needs to be deleted but the option is unavailable, any reports referencing that field must first be updated to remove those references. Once the field is no longer being used by a report, the option to delete it will become available.
